LANSING, MI – Governors State continued its road travels with a trip to Michigan Tuesday night, resulting in a 25-10, 25-10, 25-11 win over Great Lakes Christian at the Doty Center. In the process, the Jaguars (8-4) extended the Crusaders (0-5) unofficial losing streak to 56 matches.

GSU, in the middle of a seven-match road swing, removed its starters after the opening set in recording its fifth sweep on the year.

Te'A Lee led GSU with eight kills and an .889 attack percentage while Alexis Gayton and Milica Maras recorded seven kills apiece. Savik Salgado contributed with 21 assists.

"We received strong contributions from our bench tonight" said assistant coach Dean Jennings, who handled coaching duties. "We were able to spread around court time and that will help us as we prepare for conference play."

GSU travels to IU Northwest on Thursday.
