CHICAGO – Governors State headed up the road Monday to open play at the Chi-Town Fall Classic, hosted by Chicago State at the Harborside International Golf Center. GSU shot a 312 and is tied for third with CSU as UW Green Bay (294) holds an 11-stroke lead over Holy Cross (305) atop the leader board.

Individually, Casey Domke is tied for second place following a round of 73. Matt Contey is two shots back and tied for seventh place while Jack Calderone owns a share of 14th place after shooting a 78.

"Our goal is to compete with Holy Cross and Chicago State," said GSU Head Coach Mark Haines. "We don't have a lot of depth right now, so it will be interesting to see how things shake out tomorrow."
