Robinson Tabbed All-CCAC Second Team

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL—Senior forward DeAndrey Robinson of the Governors State men's basketball team has been to the all-conference team for the third-straight year. The announcement was made this morning by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

The only three-time recipient in team history, Robinson earned second team accolades this season after being named to the second team in 2021 and honorable mention in 2000.

The Jaguars' captain led GSU in points (347), field goals (136), blocks (19), steals (38), minutes played (902) and starts (29) while finishing with the second-best scoring average (12.0). He also set records for rebounds in a game (18), season (251) and career (662). Robinson was the team's leading rebounder in 24 contests, finishing ninth in CCAC play with 186 boards. He completed his three-year stint as the school's fifth all-time leading scorer with 988 points in 80 games. He also recorded 28 career double-doubles.

"I thought DeAndrey was great for us with his consistency over the years. We knew he was always going to give us his best effort and a double-double," said GSU Head Coach Tony Bates. "This is a well-deserving honor for him."

Governors State closed its season February 19 with a 10-19 overall record.
