Assistant Coach Daniel "Dani" Vieyra

Daniel “Dani” Vieyra brings over 15 years of coaching experience to the Governors State University men’s soccer program. He previously coached at Moraine Valley Community College during the 2020–2021 season, contributing to player development at the collegiate level.

A graduate of DePaul University, Dani earned a double major in Accounting and Real Estate Finance while also competing as a walk-on for the men’s soccer team. His playing and academic background provides a well-rounded perspective on student-athlete development.

Dani holds multiple coaching certifications, including the USSF C, D, and E Licenses, and has completed a Certificate in Sport Psychology for Athlete Development through Barça Innovation Hub. His approach emphasizes both technical growth and the mental development of players.
