"In the men's 10k, Daniel Zavala finished as the conference champion. This makes Daniel the indoor and outdoor conference champion for the 5k and 10k. There were some fantastic efforts in the men's steeplechase as well. Ian French, Elija Jones, and Randy Almarales all finished 4th, 5th, and 6th respectively. They each hit big personal records as well. In the 100 and 200 meter dash, Harry Jimenez hit season bests. The men's 4x800, featuring Parker Griffin, Branden DeLeon, Antoine Morgan, and Devon Hayes took 5th place. In the 5k, Samuel Rocio earned all-conference honors with his 2nd place performance. The men's 4x100, featuring James Johnson, Jonathan Brooks, Harry Jimenez, and Jayson Wold scored points for the Jaguars with the 6th place finish. Overall, I couldn't be prouder of the efforts made by these young men and women this weekend. They truly put their bodies on the line to score as many points as possible for this program. They rose to the challenge and put out some truly inspiring performances."

"Next week will be a lot of their last opportunities to compete at the St. Francis Last Chance Invitational this upcoming Friday and Saturday. I can't wait to see what impressive performances they will put out there".
