Jaguars Basketball Teams Sweep Judson Wednesday Night - Next Host IU South Bend Saturday In ARC

Governors State University basketball teams swept a double header at Judson Wednesday night in Elgin, IL.

GSU's first place CCAC women's team beat Judson 73-36. GovState is now 17-4, 11-2 on the season and were led by Tabetha Jones with 25 points in the win.

Zareia Chevre scored 16 points and 9 rebounds, 3 steals and Da'Naria Washington had 10 points, 6 rebounds.

The Jaguars defense limited Judson to 23% shooting (13-56 field goals) in the road victory, and 4th straight win.

The Jaguars women's team received the most-ever votes (41) this week in the NAIA National Top 25 rankings. GSU has been receiving votes all-season long in 2024-25.

Governors State University men's basketball beat Judson 91-82 for a solid road win.

The Jaguars (10-11, 6-7) were led in scoring by Vincent Davis with 32 points, 4 blocked shots and 2 steals.

Dekari Graham had 11 points, 3 assists and Vincent Mayes scored 13 points and a game-high 9 rebounds for the winners.

GSU men's and women's basketball host IU South Bend Saturday, February 1 at the ARC, 1 PM women's game and 3 PM men's game.
