GSU Head Cross Country Coach John Niendorf welcomes Marielle to Governors State University. "We are very happy that Marielle decided to sign here with us at GSU. She is a very tough runner and has always put 100 percent into her craft. We feel like she has a lot of potential to continue to grow as a runner.

Marielle has been to some of our practices already to meet some of the future teammates and she is going to fit in here perfectly at GSU. Her achievements as a student will also help her be successful academically as well. It will be fun to watch her continue to develop academically and athletically as the seasons progress."
