UNIVERSITY PARK, IL - The Jaguars open the 2023 men's soccer season on the road Saturday at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Coach Matt Eggert's fifth GSU season has his charges competing against the top teams in the country early on in the campaign.

GSU plays next week at Bethel University (IN), the #1 ranked NAIA team and the defending NAIA national champions, Thursday August 24 in Mishawaka, IN, 6 p.m. CST start.

"We play a tough non-conference schedule every year to get us ready for both the CCAC Conference games and to be in the NAIA national playoff picture at the end of the year," said fifth-year Head Men's Soccer Coach Matt Eggert. Eggert has led the GSU program from the beginning season in 2019 leading the Jaguars to four consecutive CCAC playoff berths. GSU was 9-4-5 last year, 2nd place in the CCAC and hosted a first round conference playoff game.
