Men's Cross Country Signing: James Johnson

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL—The Governors State men's cross country team has expanded its roster as the 2022 season opener approaches with the addition of Olympia Fields native James Johnson out of Rich Township High School (STEM Campus).

Reason for Choosing GSU: "The school is very convenient for me being only eight minutes away. My freshman year can be a time to train and really focus on the beginning of my college experience. Also, a lot of my friends are going to the school."

Governors State will make its season debut on September 2 at the Fighting Saints Twilight Invitational.
