ALEX ORTIZ SIGNS GSU MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY and TRACK NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL - Governors State University Head Cross Country and Track Coach John Niendorf announced the signing of Alex Ortiz (Joliet, IL, Joliet Central High School and Joliet Junior College) to National Letter of Intent to GSU and run for the Jaguars' cross country and track teams in 2023-2024.

You can tell, just by briefly talking to him, that he doesn't just want to be good, he wants to be great. That is something that is special and that you rarely see in a lot of student athletes."" said Coach Niendorf.
