CCAC WOMEN'S GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS - Monday-Tuesday, Tournament at TPC Deere Run, Silvus, IL - Kylie Maloney, Kelsey Brown Competed For GSU

GSU's women's golfers Kylie Maloney (Sr. Griffith, IN) shot 104-103 for 24th place and Kelsey Brown shot 125-136 (Jr. Plainfield South High School) competing for the Jaguars.

CHICAGO --- The 2023 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golf Championship was held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. The two-day event concluded on Tuesday with 18 holes being played each day. Monday was cold, windy and Tuesday improved to sunny, windy, temps near 60.

A total of nine teams will make up the field for this year's event with the winner earning the conference's automatic bid to the 28th Annual NAIA National Championships May 23-26 at the same TPC Deere Run course.

Saint Xavier won the team title by 11 shots over Saint Ambrose and upended four-time defending champion Olivet Nazarene University who placed fourth in 2023.
