Jaguars Open CCAC Season With 3-0 Sweep over Olivet-Nazarene! - GovState beats rivals 25-14, 25-18, 25-21 - Diego Antunez with 3 straight service aces keys set 3 win.
Antunez and Pablo Pascual had 13 kills each to lead the Jaguars (5-7, 1-0 CCAC). Setter Lucas Lapa had 29 assists and Jared Byas led the defense with 17 digs.
Governors State plays in Missouri Friday night at Culver-Stockton 7 PM and will not be back home until the first week of March and eventually the matchup vs. #2 ranked St. Xavier, March 5 in the ARC, 7 PM.

The Jaguars beat Indiana-East 3-0, sweeeping three sets 25-16, 25-20, 25-16. GSU (4-7) hosts Olivet Thursday night, February 19, 7 PM in the ARC.
A balanced attack led the winners on Tuesday night hitting .309 as a team with Pablo Pascual with 9 kills and Daniel Lopez 7 kills and Lucas Lapa registered 25 assists.
