GovState Wins Huge CCAC Match at St. Ambrose - Sweep Trinity Christian Thursday Night - Jaguars Now 11-9, 5-1 2nd Place CCAC -
The Jaguars (10-9, 4-1) are in second place behind #2 ranked St. Xavier in the CCAC standings following a close-win Tuesday night at St. Ambrose (14-7, 4-2).
GovState won 3-1, winning by scores 25-20, 17-25, 28-26, 30-28 with the last two sets going to OT.
Diego Antunez with 19 kills and Pablo Pascual had 14 kills, 9 digs to pace the offense.
Jared Byas had 23 digs and Elias Stommel had 36 assists for the winners.
Governors State next hosts Trinity Christian College, 7 PM, March 12, Thursday night in the ARC.
