Women's Golf Begins Season at CCAC Cup
HOMEWOOD, IL — It was barely over 100 days ago (106 to be exact) that the Governors State women's golf team walked off the Ryder Course in Port St. Lucie, Florida, having put the final touches on the 2017-18 season. On Monday the Jaguars kicked off their new season a little closer to home at the second annual CCAC Cup.
With the tournament falling on the first day of classes at GSU, the Jaguars were not able to field a complete team. Kendall Paris did make her 10th-straight appearance for the Orange and Black and shot a 102.
"We're excited to have Kendall back for her final season, she really enjoys playing the game and does a great job representing the school," said GSU Head Coach Mark Haines.
St. Ambrose (344) holds a seven-stroke lead in the four-team field heading into tomorrow's final round at the Ravisloe Country Club.
