Jaguars Come Out Red-Hot To Put Away Arizona Christian Early

GSU raced out to a 20-2 lead and led 26-6 after the first quarter and 48-19 at halftime.

GovState came out on fire in the first ten minutes hitting 11-17 field goals (65%) and Z Chevre led the way with 11 first quarter points for the 2024-25 CCAC Champions.

Tabetha Jones led the team in scoring with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners.

Zareia Chevre had a double-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds and Kalvina Eubanks had 12 points, 7 rebounds for GovState.

The Jaguars next play host school Dakota State University (25-4) in the second round, 6 PM , CST Saturday March 15. With the winner advancing to the National Finals, Round of 16 in Sioux City, Iowa March 20-25.
