GSU Soccer Signs Bradley-Bourbonnais Alumnus Kramer

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL — Jack Kramer, a transfer from NCAA Division II Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, has signed a National Letter of Intent with the Governors State soccer team.

Kramer spent the 2017 season at Lenoir-Rhyne, appearing in seven games for the Bears who earned a Top-10 national ranking and advanced to the NCAA Tournament second round.

A native of Belmont, N.C., Kramer played four varsity seasons at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School. He compiled eight goals and 10 assists as a senior, leading BBCHS to a 25-1 record and third-place finish at state. He will be reunited with teammate Efrain Davila at GSU.

The son of Deb Kramer, Jack plans to major in business.

"Jack is a lock-down defender who has the ability to be electric going forward," stated GSU Head Coach Matt Eggert.
