Men's Golf Signing: Marcus Alderson

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL—The Governors State men's golf program has strengthened its 2022-23 roster with the signing of NCAA Division II transfer Marcus Alderson.

Alderson played two seasons (2018-19, 2021-22) at LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn., a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). He will be a junior with the Jaguars this fall and is the fourth golfer added to the team by Coach Fred Hawkins this summer.

Honors/Stats: Appeared in four tournaments last year ... shot a season-low 87 at the Tunica Cup.
