PERU STATE BEATS GSU MEN'S BASKETBALL 84-79 - JAGUARS NOW 2-2 ON SEASON - Busy Homecoming Day of Games - Men's Soccer Loses 2-1 to Judson, Men's 3rd place and Women's 5th place at CCAC Cross Country Championships
UNIVERSITY PARK, IL - Peru State beat GSU 84-79 in the Jaguars' Homecoming game at the ARC Saturday. Peru State from Nebraska shot over 50% for the game (33-64) from the field and a blistering 11-22 (.500) in three-pointers to beat Governors State.
For the Jaguars (2-2), 65 points in the contest were scored by players coming off the bench led by Freshman Vincent Davis with 21 points, 6 rebounds, hitting 9-12 fields goals.
Also scoring in double figures for GSU was Jalen Levy (15 points, 5-8 FGs) and Dekari Graham with 11 points.
Peru State led 39-29 at halftime.
GSU next plays at #2 ranked Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, Wednesday, November 8, 6 PM CST start.
