Judson University came out hot and hit 67 % field goals in the first half (16-24) and were tied at halftime with Governors State at 38-38.

GSU hit 15-32 field goals (47%) in the back and forth first half and were led by Dekari Graham with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the opening 20 minutes.

JU Eagles (9-12, 6-7 CCAC) continued hitting shots in the second half and built a 16-point lead midway through the final 20 minutes and limited GSU to only 27% shooting (9-33).

Four Governors State starters scored in double figures led by Tyrell Isom with 14 points. Graham filled up the stats sheet with 13 points, and had a GSU team-high 8 rebounds and six assists in the CCAC home loss.

Kendall Brasfield and Oluyemi Elutilo scored 11 points each for GSU (6-14, 4-8 CCAC). The Jaguars are next at IU South Bend Saturday, Feb. 3, 3 pm.

Monday, Feb. 5, 6 PM makeup game vs. Olivet Nazarene University in the ARC of the twice cancel vs. ONU contest (men's game only) because of weather delays and GSU school closings.
