JAGUARS WRAP UP BUSY STRETCH OF GAMES LOSING AT ONU SATURDAY 100-70

GSU wrapped up its NBA-type schedule playing five games in ten days the past two weeks losing at Olivet Nazarene University Saturday 100-70.
With an earlier game vs. ONU postponed twice by the cold weather and ice storms campus closings at GSU, the two teams played each other twice this week (ONU won Monday at GSU 89-74).
Junior forward Tyrell Isom, GSU's scoring leader in 2023-24, continued his top scoring games with a team-high 17 points vs. the Tigers.
Governors State (6-18, 4-12) had four other players score in double figures: Ben Underwood with a GSU career-high 14 points. Underwood hit 3-6 three-pointers.
Jalen Levy 12 points and Oluyemi Elutilo and Kendall Brasfield scored 10 points each.
The Jaguars next play at home Wednesday, February 14, 7 p.m. hosting St. Francis in the ARC and will also host Calumet St. Joseph, Saturday, February 17, 3 p.m. in the GSU Athletic Recreation Center.
