#13 RANKED ROOSEVELT LAKERS BEAT JAGUARS 86-63 AT GOODMAN CENTER

Roosevelt University remained unbeaten, 11-0 in the CCAC Conference and the #13th ranked Lakers continued to roll at home in the Goodman Center with a solid 86-63 win over Governors State University Wednesday night.

For GSU, the Jaguars were led by 6-5 junior team scoring leader Tyrell Isom with 18 points.

Isom is averaging 15.4 points per game in five games played in the 2023-24 season.

Also in doubles scoring for the Jaguars was Kyle Jackson with 11 points and Oluyemi Elutilo scored nine points. 

The Lakers (17-2, 11-0) shot 51% from the field (33-65 field goals) and were on fire hitting 8-17 threes (47%) in the home victory.

GSU (6-12, 4-6 CCAC) was limited to 27% shooting from the field (18-65 FGs) and the Jaguars hit 5-19 three-pointers (26 %).

Governors State plays next at Saint Xavier Saturday, 3 PM start against the Cougars.
