BETHEL (Indiana) BEATS JAGUARS 93-80 - GSU BACK INTO CCAC SATURDAY vs. FIRST PLACE IU SOUTH BEND

UNIVERSITY PARK, Illinois --  One night after beating #3 ranked Georgetown (KY) 85-80, the Bethel University Pilots (9-2) came into the ARC and beat Governors State University 93-80 in a non-conference game.

GSU continues to play its tough non-CCAC Conference schedule playing earlier at top ranked Grace (Indiana), and also played teams who have earned top 25 votes (IU Kokomo, Peru State, and Marian) in the 2023-24 season.

Wednesday night vs. Bethel and All-American guard Drew Lutz (23 points, 5 assists), GSU had four players score in double figures led by Lashaun Gist 15 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds.

Also scoring in doubles for the Jaguars were Delon Zollicoffer-White 12 points, and a team-high 6 rebounds, Jalen Levy 10, and Kendall Brasfield 10.

The Jaguars (5-7 overall, and second place 3-1 in CCAC) next play first place IU South Bend (4-0 CCAC) on Saturday 3 pm in the ARC.
