HOLY CROSS SAINTS BEATS GSU JAGUARS 70-60 FOR SECOND STRAIGHT CCAC WIN

Holy Cross College won its second straight CCAC Conference game beating Governors State University at home 70-60.
The Saints led 29-22 at halftime and GSU's defense forced Holy Cross into 14 first half turnovers.
GSU (5-11, 3-5 CCAC) was led in scoring by Tyrell Isom with 17 points, 6 rebounds and Tyler Clarke also scored in double figures with 11 points, 6 rebounds.
Holy Cross (7-10, 2-7 CCAC) hit 20-24 free throws and limited the Jaguars to 23-61 field goals (37%) in the home win.
Governors State next plays at home, Saturday, January 20, 3 pm in the ARC vs. Trinity Christian.
SCHEDULE CHANGE: GSU's home game vs. Olivet Nazarene, postponed last week with the cold freeze, will be held - Monday, January 22, 6 pm in the GSU ARC.
