UNIVERSITY PARK, Illinois -- JAGUARS BEAT OLIVET NAZARENE 80-75

BALANCED TEAM SCORING IN WIN OVER THE ONU TIGERS

Gaetana Davis scored 12 points and had 6 rebounds in 80-75 win vs. Olivet Nazarene in the GSU ARC Wednesday night. Four Jaguars scored in double figures, Davis 12, Tabetha Jones 12, Angelique Cowan 11, Trinity Sims 11 in the ONU victory.

Eight Jaguars scored 7 points or more in the victory and the team defense limited ONU to 36.2% shooting (25-69 field goals) and Sims led GSU with four blocked shots.

"We had to be disciplined to beat Olivet Nazarene, they are well coached, we had to defend and rebound. We have worked hard in practice on our rebounding," said GSU Head Coach Tonishea Mack.(GSU outrebounded ONU 51-33).

Trinity Sims led GSU in rebounding with 9 and Cowan 7, Jones 6, Davis 6 and Da'Naria Washington 5 rebounds in a solid team effort vs. the Tigers.
