GSU BEATS CALUMET ST. JOSEPH 81-35 - JAGUARS 21-5 ON SEASON, 15-3 CCAC -

UNIVERSITY PARK, IL - Kendall Winston hit 7 three-pointers, one shy of her school record of 8 threes in a game set earlier in the season, to lead the Jaguars to a 81-35 home win on Saturday over Calumet St. Joseph.

Winston's 7-13 shooting from long range led the GSU offense with 21 points and all 11 Jaguar players played double digit minutes in the team win - Governors State now with a new school record for wins in a season - 21-5 record, & 15-3 in the CCAC Conference entering the final week of the regular season next week with a road game at IU Northwest Wednesday, 5:30 PM and Senior Day game, Saturday, 1 PM, February 24 vs. Holy Cross.

Tatym Coe with 12 points, hitting 4-6 field goals and had 2 assists and Tabetha Jones scored 10 points as the other two scoring in double figures for the winners.

All eleven GSU players played 11 minutes or more in the contest and the team moves into a two-game lead for second-place in the CCAC 15-3 record behind #17 CCAC leader IU South Bend, 25-1, 17-1 CCAC.
